Student registration is suitable for those who are just commencing a career in Health Informatics. You will be a student, a trainee or just moving into Health Informatics from another area, and have not yet gained the requisite experience for full registration.
You should either be working in or aspiring to work in Health Informatics and studying a relevant qualification. Student registrants demonstrate their commitment to professionalism in Health Informatics by signing up to the UKCHIP Code of Conduct and agreeing to abide by the rules of the Council.
Your summary details will be published below on the Student Register, and once you have been accepted, you can remain on it for up to four years without having to make a renewal application. At any time, when you meet the criteria, students are encouraged to apply for full registration.
