Southern Institute for Health Informatics 2010 Annual Conference; Langstone Campus, University of Portsmouth
The conference theme focuses on topics such as home telecare, impact of the ageing society, assisted living, personal health records and workplace wellbeing. This agenda is closely aligned with empowering people to self-manage their chronic conditions and make lifestyle changes to improve their health. It also involves supporting innovation and cost reduction in healthcare delivery and using technology to facilitate these changes.
